Uncle Bryan
Bryan has been off track this semester and has been fortunate enough to spend a few nights at our house. He will be the first to tell you that we literally run a circus here at the Simper Residence. There is never a dull moment. Last night he came over to help me with the nightly rituals until Darren got home. I couldn't have done it without him. We have had so much fun having him home. As we speak....Bryan, Kylee & Darren are roping. Darren loves having this guy around and Kylee is always asking where Uncle Bryan is!!
The Three
It Is Hard To Believe....
That 1 year ago yesterday Darren & Jeff survived this accident. Little did we know that it was the beginning of a few accidents they would encounter together that would eventually take Jeff's life.
We still can't believe that Jeff is no longer here with us. Oh...how Darren misses working with him and chatting with him everyday. He was truly one of Darren's closest friends here in Fallon.

Audrey
This last week Darren's cousin, Clint and his wife Jennifer lost their little girl, Audrey unexpectedly. Heavenly Father must have needed her on the other side. She was a gem and will be missed by all who knew her. She was buried on her 5th birthday. Part of her obituary said...."Audrey was a beautiful daughter of our Heavenly Father whose short time here on earth blessed all those who knew or met her. She loved to sing and dance, was learning gymnastics and learning her letters and numbers so she could start reading. She was her daddy's fishing, shooting and horse-riding partner. She was her m...ommy's big helper and a wonderful big sister. She loved her family and especially loved playing with her cousins and being with her grandparents. Her zest for life was evident in her always smiling face, the sparkle in her eye, her infectious giggle, and these qualities will be missed most by all those who knew and loved Audrey."
Eye Doctor

On Monday I had to take the twins to the eye doctor for a follow up to make sure everything is good with their eyes. It is amazing how many doctors the two of them saw in the NICU and now all of the doctors we have to follow up with to make sure everything is functioning well. Things are good with the two of them. They are both a little far sided which is normal in babies. Karlie still has a tear duct that is a little clogged. I have to take her back for a follow up in 4 months to make sure it has eventually opened up!!

Karlie is in the 50th percentile for her weight, 90th percentile for her length and her head measures 43 cm which is in the 50th percentile.
She is such a wonderful big sister. She shows so much compassion and concern for her little sisters especially when they have to get shots and she doesn't. We are actually going to take her to see the twins pediatrician in a couple of weeks. We will report on her stats then!!
